NATURAL FORMS RE-IMAGINED
I have been an avid scuba diver since 1976. From the entire coast of California to Florida, Hawaii and Mexico. What I have seen under the water, and on the beach has inspired my work in all media. I was also an Ice hockey Goalie for 11 years, during the time of the fiberglass mask. So the mask is present in my work as well.
I use a variety of sculptural materials in my sculpture. I have taught Sculpture/Ceramics/Biological Illustration/3d/and Art since 1983.
Currently I teach Art , full time, at T R SMEDBERG MIDDLE SCHOOL, SACRAMENTO, California. I also teach a Summer course called Sculpture's a Beach, at the Mendocino Art Center.
I continue to create new work in Ceramics, Sculpture,Painting, Printmaking and Illustration, including Digital.
